Education specialist Alison Wolf nominated as new peer

Education expert Professor Alison Wolf has been named as one of several public figures to have been nominated for a peerage.

Prof Wolf, who specialises in vocational education and training, and is professor of public sector management at King’s College London, will sit as a crossbench peer.

Others nominated include the head of Migration Watch, Sir Andrew Green, former Commons Clerk Sir Robert Rogers, and former MI5 boss Sir Jonathan Evans.
