A driver who threatened an Orthodox Jewish man in an antisemitic outburst has received a six-month suspended prison sentence.
Rashal Miah, from Tottenham, was sentenced on Friday, after being found guilty of racially and religiously aggravated harassment in January at Snaresbrook Crown Court in Redbridge.
He was charged after an altercation that took place in September 2014, when he drove his car down the wrong side of the road in Stamford Hill, north-east London.
An Orthodox Jewish man – recognisably Jewish from his clothing – who was driving a school bus full of children at the time asked Mr Miah to reverse his car to let traffic pass. Mr Miah left his car and confronted the man, threatening him.
