Wizo's annual Jewish Women's Week campaign has this year raised almost £250,000 for the charity's welfare work in Israel. One thousand volunteers made the collections in Jewish neighbourhoods throughout the country.
In its 67th year, Jewish Women's Week is the only Jewish charity project with government authorisation for a door-to-door collection.
