British Emunah has launched an emergency appeal for Emunah’s Sarah Herzog Children’s Centre in Afula, following a fire last Friday evening. Although no one was hurt, the building sustained considerable damage.
In a statement, British Emunah stressed its commitment to ensuring “that the children can continue to enjoy life at the home. They have come to Emunah because they cannot live with their own families due to tragic circumstances. Many are orphans or have suffered violence, neglect or abuse.” The appeal has the backing of Bnei Akiva, many of whose members volunteer at Sarah Herzog while on Israel programmes.
