articlemain

A public relations specialist with extensive knowledge of the Jewish charity sector is to be Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis's new director of communications. The PR Office's Mark Frazer is one of the three appointments made to strengthen the Office of the Chief Rabbi team.

As previously reported, Michelle Bauernfreund, director of operations at Mitzvah Day, will be taking up a similar position at the OCR. The third recruit is Daniel Bacall, head of marketing at Langdon, a charity for young people with learning difficulties, who will have a role in external affairs.

The extra staff are expected to help Rabbi Mirvis develop his social action, education and interfaith work. OCR chief executive Ari Jesner said: "Dan, Michelle and Mark bring great talent and experience. It's an exciting time."
