The former Blackpool Hebrew Congregation synagogue is to be auctioned next month.
Auction house Pugh has put a guide price of £125,000 on the building in Leamington Road, where the congregation held its final service six years ago.
It follows protracted efforts to secure planning permission to develop the Grade II-listed building. Consent was finally granted last year to convert part of the property into five two-bedroom flats.
Paul Thompson, managing director of the auction house, reported “a great deal of interest from potential buyers.
“In the hands of the right developer, the site could continue to be an important asset to the town.”
