A strictly Orthodox Israeli singer described as a "Charedi Barbra Streisand" drew a crowd of 900 women to a Manchester charity concert on Sunday night.
Kineret, 42, has been coached by Dr William Riley, who has worked with Streisand and other major stars including Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.
Her three-hour performance at Beis Yaakov High School was in aid of the Kivisi infertility charity, which supports 90 local couples across the religious spectrum with confidential counselling, medical advice and funding for treatments.
Concert organiser, midwife Elisheva Uzvolk, was "impressed by the cross-section of the community who attended, which mirrors the wide range of people Kivisi helps. It was a fantastic night out and all for an important cause."
