The United Synagogue has launched a survey to gauge the needs of members who are on their own through separation, divorce or bereavement.
“We are looking at a constituency that sometimes gets overlooked,” explained US consultant marketing director Ian Myers.
The intention was “to survey 200 members, asking them what local shuls provide, how valuable it is and what is missing. We want the US and local communities to provide benefits to all members beyond the activities people naturally associate with the US.”
