A Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue minyan for young singles and marrieds attracted 85 people to its pilot Yachad (together) service.
Organisers Aryeh Richman and Simon Mitchell say it offers "a vibrant style of tefilah". There will be fortnightly Yachad minyanim after the High Holy-Days.
Shul chair Mike Cohen said: "The Yachad minyan further demonstrates our commitment and ambition for BES to become recognised as the leading modern Orthodox community within the United Synagogue."
