Sainsbury’s in Golders Green has chosen Jewish Care as its local charity of the year, a partnership launched with a joint “Live Jewish festival experience” at the store before the chagim.

Staff from Jewish Care and the supermarket handed out free samples of food associated with Rosh Hashanah.

Jewish Care’s Ben Morrison said the link-up would bring “the range of services and volunteering opportunities we have available for the community at Jewish Care” to wider attention.
