There was a Ryder Cup flavour to the Jewish Care Pro-Am Golf Tournament at Dyrham Park, Herts, which raised £40,000 for the charity’s Rela Goldhill Lodge in Golders Green, supporting 20 people with severe physical and sensory disabilities.
Former European team members Paul Way and Paul Broadhurst were among the pros taking part, along with Jewish player Sam Little.
Jewish Care’s Daniel Carmel-Brown praised the “heart-warming generosity” of those involved in the tournament.
“It is a privilege to work alongside this committee and their guests who together help to make sure that the people who depend on Jewish Care get the help they need,” Mr Carmel-Brown said.
