Quiz team's family link

articlemain

Quizmaster Brian Nathan has helped charities to raise well over £500,000.

But there was a close personal interest in the quiz he and his team - wife Barbara, plus Myra and Michael Litman - presented at the Village Hotel in Elstree.

It was their first in aid of the Melissa Nathan Foundation, set up in memory of the Nathans' daughter Melissa, a JC columnist and best-selling author who died of cancer in 2006.

Billed as Our Own Quiz, the £4,000 proceeds enabled the foundation to reach its target for a second Variety Club coach in Melissa's name, providing outings for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people.
