A Hampstead Garden Suburb family who "have caring in their blood" were inspired to run the 5k for Emunah after visiting the charity's orphanage in Israel.
After running for Emunah last year, Olivia Leich, a nurse, took her daughters, Saskia, 8, and Roxie, 5, to Afula to meet some of the thousands of Israeli children helped by Emunah.
"I was blown away by what they do for underprivileged children in Israel," she said. "The orphanage really touched me. We can support Emunah because we can relate to the children and because the charity lets you know where every penny goes."
So taking part again with her daughters and husband, Simon, was a no-brainer.
As a nurse, she said that "caring is automatically in my blood and my children and husband are the same".
The family has raised £1,000 so far and hope to add to that figure. Mrs Leich liked the idea of children taking part in the fun run, saying it instilled important values in the next generation.
"You can't sit back and take from this world - it's not why we're here.
"Those are definitely the kind of principles I want to show my kids as well."
