Norwood's outstanding nursery

Norwood's nursery based at the Kennedy Leigh Centre in Hendon has been graded outstanding in all aspects by Ofsted inspectors.

They found excellent opportunities for playing and learning, effective leadership and "welcoming and caring staff" who promoted partnership with parents. Children with special needs were "extremely well cared for".

Norwood chief executive Elaine Kerr attributed the rating "to the dedication of our staff. Norwood nursery is a warm, inclusive environment. We're delighted that our commitment to ensuring every child is supported to make excellent progress has been recognised."
