Net gains for Bnei Akiva dinner

articlemain

The 250 attendance at a Friends of Bnei Akiva Manchester dinner was more than doubled by those viewing the live online coverage.

Guest of honour was Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks, who opened the movement’s Salford bayit in 1991.

BA supporters in London, Israel and Gibraltar were among the online followers of the dinner, held at the Hilton Suite in Prestwich. The £50,000 raised will go towards the running and refurbishment of the bayit, which hosts 160 young people every Shabbat.
