Leeds Labour MP Fabian Hamilton is back in the saddle in support of Leeds Jewish Welfare Board.
The pedalling politician will take part in the Prudential Ride in London next month, which takes in some of the city’s iconic sights.
It represents a more leisurely challenge than past charity rides — he last year cycled from Leeds to Berlin and previously rode from Leeds to Amsterdam.
However, the energetic MP will soon be aiming to complete a 270-mile route to Dortmund on behalf of St George’s Crypt in Leeds.
Mr Hamilton cycles daily when in London and says “it’s the only way to travel”.
He has a £5,000 target for the welfare board, “a very important part of the Leeds community”.
