The tiny Masorti group in Bristol, which has been struggling to afford premises, has found a rent-free home courtesy of the “most pro-Israel church” in the city.
Led by retired lecturer Yaakov Martin, the group had been using a hired hall. But because of limited finances, it could only meet monthly.
Now thanks to the intervention of the River of Life Christian Centre, it has a regular meeting area for services, study and socials.
Mr Martin, 54, said the initiative came from the church. “They said they had lots of space. It’s our own space and they allow us to come to study the Torah.
