Lounging in Brum

More than 100 people attended the opening of the Vanessa Rose Youth and Community Lounge at Birmingham Central Synagogue.

Although situated at the Central, the lounge is for the use of the entire community. It is named after Vanessa Rose, who died two years ago from myeloma. Her family raised the £10,000 to fund the lounge. Clive Rose spoke of how the room reflected his late wife’s passion for the community — and particularly its youth.
