The Liberal Jewish Synagogue is tonight hosting a special Friday service on the eve of the London Pride parade. The “Celebrating Together” service is being held in conjunction with the Jewish Gay and Lesbian Group and the Beit Klal Synagogue. Lionel Blue is among rabbis taking part.

Guest speaker will be Caren Gestetner, trustee of Human Trust Dignity, which campaigns against laws which criminalise homosexuality. A chavurah supper after the service will feature the London Gay Men’s Chorus.
The Chorus will also perform at a Chanucah concert at West London Synagogue to mark World Aids Day.
