Joining the Fed

articlemain

Kehillas Netzach Yisroel in Edgware is to join the Federation of Synagogues as a constituent member after 16 years as an independent congregation.

Established as a Seed Shabbat morning minyan in 1999, Netzach Yisroel has grown from 15 families to 100.

Gateshead-born Rabbi Dovid Roberts has been its spiritual leader since 2001.

Netzach Yisroel chair Mark Hamburger said that "in the Federation, we have found an organisation that shares our hashkafos [ethos] and our view of authentic Orthodox Yiddishkeit.

"We are delighted to be nailing the KNY flag to the Federation mast."
