Former Leeds United Hebrew Congregation rabbi, Daniel Levy, who left his post suddenly last month, has embarked on a new career.
Rabbi Levy has joined technology entrepreneur Martin Port's company BigChange Apps as a director and said the job offer was the answer to his prayers. He will be involved in corporate sales.
"It's all in the davening," the rabbi suggested. "One prays to Hashem and He sends his agent. In this instance Hashem sent Martin Port to me."
The two have known each other for a number of years, engaging in discussions on business ethics and related issues.
After learning that the minister was leaving UHC, Mr Port sounded him out about the job. His remit will also cover the company's corporate social responsibility scheme.
