Jewish Blind and Disabled recognised for dementia awareness

Jewish Blind & Disabled has become the first housing provider in the UK to receive dementia awareness accreditation through the worldwide Purple Angel Campaign.

Staff completed an “understanding dementia knowledge paper” as part of the process and the charity’s chief executive, Hazel Kaye, said it would form “an integral part of our new house manager induction programme”.
