It was a major dilemma for football fans.
Participate or watch representatives of 78 charities and schools in the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run in glorious weather, or stay at home for the afternoon's match between England and Panama?
Although the timings of the majority of the 10k, 5k and 1k events allowed those living in within reasonable proximity of the Allianz Park, Hendon venue to do both, organisers took no chances and organised a live screening of the England game.
The thousands of runners and spectators also enjoyed a family fun zone, health and well-being hub and a food court.
Now an established fixture of the communal calendar, the fun run has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes.
This year, 2,650 people ran or walked distances from 1k to 10k, watched by well over 4,000 people.
Event manager Stacey Abendstern said: "It was unbelievable to see so many members of the community get active and raise funds for charities and schools that are important to them, all under one roof. To have broken last year's participation record is something we are incredibly proud of and a testament to how popular and important the event is to our community."
