Immanuel College breaks new ground

articlemain

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis joined pupils, parents and staff at Immanuel College for the ground-breaking ceremony for a bet hamidrash at the Bushey school. Addressing a crowd of 500, Rabbi Mirvis said it was important to give back to the community — and that someone did not have to be famous to make a difference.

This was epitomised by the Atar and Zwillenberg families, who had generously supported the new facility.

Rabbi Mirvis went on to see younger pupils from the Immanuel College Preparatory School.
