Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith visited Jewish Blind and Disabled's Milne Court property in South Woodford, meeting tenants in communal areas and their flats, designed to allow independent living.

"It was fantastic to meet tenants and see the number of improvements that are being made to the building," Mr Duncan Smith said. He was impressed by the "homely" nature of the apartments, "which is very much reflected in the happiness of tenants". Milne Court is in his Chingford and Woodford Green constituency.
