Going pop at Langdon

articlemain

Manchester MP Hazel Blears opened a pop-up shop in Salford’s Eccles centre which will provide retail experience for students at Langdon College, helping those with learning difficulties.

Trading until December 24, the shop will sell household goods and home furnishings, also raising funds for the specialist college. M&S assisted with the fitting out of the store and rent and business rates have been waived.

Langdon principal Christopher Mayho said it provided “a risk-free environment for our students”.
