An illustrated book about the history of Glasgow Jewry was launched on Sunday by the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre.
Detailing Jewish life in the city from the 18th century and featuring images from the centre’s collection, the book is a collaboration between Stephen Kliner, Kenneth Collins and Harvey Kaplan. Mr Kaplan, the centre director, described it as “the kind of book you could have on your coffee table.
“Anyone with roots in Jewish Glasgow will be interested.”
It has been launched at the discount price of £20 and is available from the centre.
