Fore-play aids Chai activities

articlemain

There was more than charitable incentive at the second Golf Fore Chai day, held at the Hartsbourne club in Bushey.

A Land Rover Freelander was the prize for a hole-in-one and although no one achieved it, the efforts of the 90 competitors raised more than £35,000 for the cancer charity.

The day included a lunch, followed by an auction, with VIP tickets to a George Michael concert and a private tour of the Coronation Street set with actress Sally Dynevor (Sally Webster) among the lots.

Gary Gold, Gary Isaacs, Anthony Latter and Simon Goldstein were the winning team members.

Golf Fore Chai chair Jo Fogel was delighted by the "wonderful amount of money raised".
