The Western Marble Arch Synagogue joined the Lithuanian authorities for an event marking the 70th anniversary of the liquidation of Vilnius Ghetto. Lithuanian ambassador Asta Skaisgiryte Liauškiene spoke of her government’s Shoah educational work. “Continuing to teach the young generation about the Holocaust is of the utmost importance as this provides the foundations for eradicating any kind of antisemitic sentiments,” she said.
