David Arden is quitting as chief executive of employment charity Work Avenue after less than a year in the role.
In a short statement, Mr Arden — who was previously CEO of the S & P Sephardi Community — said he had decided to pursue other career opportunities.
“Work Avenue is the most remarkable organisation but I have decided that my long-term career aspirations are to be found elsewhere.”
Trustees’ chair Mark Morris thanked Mr Arden for his service and looked forward to him remaining a champion of its work.
The charity was now focusing on recruiting a new chief executive.
