Friends have paid tribute to a "sweet and caring" London teenager who died last week.
Emily Weiss, 14, was a year 10 pupil at South Hampstead High School. More than 3,000 people joined a Facebook group created in her memory.
Its creator was close friend Esther-Rose Raffell, who was a fellow pupil at the Akiva Primary in Finchley. "Emily was a natural at pretty much anything she turned her hand to," she said. "She played the flute and guitar, sang beautifully and was one of the most talented young girls I have ever seen act. At her batmitzvah service, Emily delivered a thought-provoking and stunningly written dvar Torah."
Her parents, Sharon and Warren, and 16-year-old brother Jonah are Muswell Hill Synagogue congregants.
She recently performed in Calamity Jane at North Western Reform Synagogue. Services were held there and at New North London Synagogue for Emily's friends.
