Educator wins major award

UJIA research director Dr Helena Miller has received the Max M Fisher Prize for Jewish education in the diaspora at a Jerusalem ceremony.

Dr Miller played a prominent role in the creation of cross-communal Barnet secondary school, JCoSS.
She was also heavily involved in the establishment and development of London pluralist Jewish primaries Clore Tikva and Clore Shalom and has worked to raise the standards of Jewish educators. The prize is awarded by the Pincus Fund.
