Jewish Care's Edgware and Harrow Jewish Day Centre will have to operate in reduced space as its host synagogue needs more room for its popular child-minding service.
The long-established day centre rents premises from Edgware and District Reform Synagogue for its weekday activities. Its manager, Jacey Harris, said "there may be an opportunity to use our space more efficiently without it having an impact on the service we provide and numbers of people we support. This will be determined over the next month."
The shul said it was committed to the day centre continuing on its premises.
