Come dine with us - it's for charity

articlemain

Dinner party guests in Leeds are being encouraged to donate money to Leeds Jewish Welfare Board, instead of giving flowers or wine to their host, in a new fundraising drive.

The charity is urging supporters to host a "Come Dine At Mine" Shabbat dinner on September 9 in aid of the Rainbow Project, helping adults with learning disabilities.

LJWB fundraising committee member Ilan Sherman said: "I think this is a brilliant and easy way to raise lots of money. You can support the Rainbow Project by doing something fun that you usually do each week."
