The Clore Tikva Primary in Redbridge has been ranked as good by Ofsted inspectors, an improvement on the satisfactory rating in the previous report.
In their key findings, the inspectors noted advancements in teaching, although not enough to make the school outstanding.
Over half the pupils reached standards in English and maths that were a year ahead of 11-year-olds nationally. Behaviour was good and staff and the lay leadership worked well together.
In a statement, the school expressed delight that the inspectors had recognised “the drive for improvement spearheaded by the leadership team”.
