Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis tests positive for Covid

He's cancelled all his forthcoming appointments as a precaution

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis has tested positive for Covid after taking a precautionary lateral flow test. 

A spokesperson for Rabbi Mirvis confirmed he had tested positive and is said to be frustrated as he "is feeling well."

As a precaution he has cancelled all his forthcoming engagements for the coming days which included foreign trips he had planned. 

The Chief Rabbi has also taken a PCR test and is awaiting the result.
