Bushey open to review

articlemain

With its refurbishment programme completed, Bushey Synagogue has launched a wide-ranging community review.

Bushey chair Louis Sharron says the idea is to "engage with our members, get their views on a number of topics and then make recommendations".

A steering committee chaired by management council member Alan Graham has identified various aspects of shul life which will be scrutinised by four working groups - community, education, finance and resources and communications.

"We don't want to put pressure on the working groups, who will be establishing their own terms of reference," Mr Sharron said.

"It could take six or nine months, a year, or even longer, but we will consider implementing any proposals as soon as recommendations are made."
