Boris Johnson visited the Hatzola Northwest operational base in Golders Green, where he was given a tour of the site and spoke to a number of the medical emergency service’s responders.
Hatzola Northwest chairman and volunteer responder, Shloimie Richman, said: “It’s always both special and rewarding when a high-profile visitor endorses Hatzola’s important work within the community”.
Serving the Golders Green, Hendon and Finchley area, Hatzola Northwest deals with more than 5,000 calls a year and the free service is staffed by 54 volunteers who have all undergone intensive training.
