Part of a new Golders Green development has been designated for the growing strictly Orthodox population of Barnet.
The deal for the West Heath Place, Finchley Road, properties was struck by the Agudas Israel Housing Association with Albany Homes.
Housing association chief executive Ita Symons said: "There will be a mix of shared ownership and rented flats for families from Barnet who need affordable homes.
"We have suggested to Barnet Council that these tenants need to be in Orthodox accommodation and we believe they will meet the criteria to get these homes.
"We have wanted more properties in Barnet for many years."
Elsewhere, Agudas Israel will apply for planning permission to relocate strictly Orthodox special needs school Side-by-Side to the Avigdor Mews housing estate in Stoke Newington, with new flats to be built on top of the school. It is also working on a family housing project in Salford.
