Jewish Leadership Council chief executive Simon Johnson has pledged JLC's support for Glasgow Jewry.

Addressing the AGM of the city's Jewish representative council, which is celebrating its centenary, Mr Johnson said the JLC was keen to do more to assist Glasgow. "We encourage you to think collaboratively and we will support you financially. The JLC can act as a help, as a catalyst, as a resource and a source of contact and experience."

Rep president Paul Morron highlighted the council's increased role in interfaith relations. Centenary events had included a Jewish Question Time.
