articlemain

The Manchester King David schools' £22 million redevelopment was completed on Monday, with a final phase comprising two refurbished drama studios, music facilities and playgrounds.

Manchester City Council's Anthony Crowley, project manager for the King David scheme, signed over keys to the redeveloped areas.

King David has now begun modernising its swimming pool and gym using private funding.

Governors' chair Joshua Rowe said the new arts facilities would help students to maintain King David's excellent achievement record in GCSE drama examinations.
