Claudia Winkleman and Vanessa Feltz are among the top 10 highest earners at the BBC as the corporation publishes its top-paid talent as part of its bid to tackle its equal pay problem.
Ms Winkleman is the BBC’s highest-paid female star and 8th highest earner overall with a salary of £370,000.
It is the first time since presenter's salaries were first disclosed in 2017 that women have made the top 10.
Ms Winkleman joins other high profile stars such as Today presenter John Humphrys, who was one of a number of male starts to take pay cuts to address the balance.
Ms Winkleman’s salary does not include payments for Strictly Come Dancing.
Ms Feltz is the 10th most well paid star, earning £355,000, for her for work on Radio 2 and Radio London.
The BBC released the full list of talent earning more than £150,000 as part of its annual report, covering April 2018 to March 2019.
BBC director general Lord Hall, said it was spending "more than ever on content, but the amount we have spent proportionally on talent has come down".
He said: "Whenever we ask the public whether they want big stars on the BBC they say yes.
"They say yes because they are talented and entertaining. They also say yes as it means they are getting big value from the BBC."
