Channel 4 News has been criticised over an interview with an Israeli journalist who was filmed being abused as he walked around Paris wearing a kippah.
Journalist Zvika Klein, whose video went viral this week, told C4 that he felt “scared and frightened” after he faced verbal attacks in predominately Muslim neigbourhoods.
But the C4 journalist went on to ask Mr Klein whether the video was “an act of provocation”.
A spokeswoman for the broadcaster said: "C4N has received two complaints on this."
Writing in the Washington Post, law professor David Bernstein said: “It strikes me that if another other group… was being harassed on the streets of Paris, reporters would be asking someone in Klein’s position a very different and much more sensitive set of questions.”
The video of Mr Klein walking through Paris was viewed almost five million times. The video, which was aired on Jewish news website NRG, shows the kippah and tzitit-wearing Mr Klein being abused, called a “dog” and spat at by passers-by.
