Theatre-goers have been rocking in their seats to music from the late 1950s and early 1960s thanks to music impresario Brian Berg.
The president of Universal Music Enterprises, Mr Berg is the executive producer of hit West End musical Dreamboats and Petticoats, which features tracks by Roy Orbison, The Shadows and Billy Fury.
The show, running at London's Playhouse Theatre, was inspired by Mr Berg's Dreamboats and Petticoats compilation CDs which cover the period spanning 1957 to 1963. He produced the show with Bill Kenwright and Laurie Mansfield. Singer songwriter Tony Christie recently joined the show. Mr Berg, 60, tells People: "The music captures the golden era of pop music, post-Elvis and pre-Beatles." London-based Mr Berg plans to expand the Dreamcoats and Petticoats brand and is planning two more projects with Mr Kenwright and Mr Mansfield.
