The BBC's director of news and current affairs, James Harding - a former editor of The Times - will chair an evening being held as part of the JC's 175th anniversary celebrations.

On May 3, two legendary former JC editors, Geoffrey Paul and Ned Temko, will speak about their memories of running the oldest and greatest Jewish newspaper in the world, as well as current issues and controversies.

They will be joined by current editor, Stephen Pollard.

The event will be held in north London.
