Jami's landmark mental health campaign has attracted a huge rise in referrals to the service.
Think Ahead, the first mental health campaign to target the entire Jewish community , was launched in May in the JC. The next month, there was a 186 per cent increase in new people contacting the charity for assistance.
The year-long drive uses 30 striking images accompanied by messages such as "labels are for jars, not people" as a way for Jews to understand mental health and consider any issue they may be facing themselves.
In June, 52 new people contacted Jami, a year-on-year rise of 39 and almost double the 28 who got in touch during May.
Liz Jessel, the charity's head of development, said the results were "fantastic - the numbers are quite staggering".
