Witnesses are being sought over an alleged egging attack on a London synagogue

According to the Shomrim North West London twitter account, the incident happened at 11.40pm on Tuesday, April 4, as people were leaving the shul in Golders Green, north-west London.

The volunteer security service tweeted: “Last night occupants of a blue Toyota Prius deliberately threw eggs at Jews outside a synagogue in #Golders Green #Antisemitism in #Barnet.”

It is believed the alleged attack happened outside Hagers Shul in Highfield Avenue.

In the video, bemused pedestrians can be seen looking round as the car passes, although there is no clear image of eggs being thrown

Witnesses have been urged to report information to the police on 101, or to Shomrim on 0300 999 1234.
