Mazeltov to Anthony Sharot.
The 31-year-old Londoner has been crowned marketing freelancer of the year.
Mr Sharot, who helps companies to run more efficient websites and generate more traffic, was picked for his work with the Wellcome Trust, a global charity funding research into human and animal health.
He boosted their ranking on Google and provided internal training to help them run more productively. The former IT recruitment professional tells People: "It was a bit of a surprise to win. There are lots of agency competitions but not so many for freelancers, so I didn't take it that seriously." The awards, now in their sixth year, are dedicated to the unsung heroes of marketing, media and communications.
Mr Sharot, who lives in Northwood, north London, has been freelancing for the past four years and has worked on more than 100 projects.
