Newly elected London mayor Boris Johnson is a free-spirited, individualistic person, who is constantly on the look out for new opportunities and has the ability to get others to act on his own ideas. So says graphologist Allan Conway, who has just analysed a sample of the mayor’s handwriting.
Mr Conway, 69, has been studying peoples’ handwriting for more than 30 years. He says the sample also indicates that Mr Johnson is suited to the world of economics and culture, but could get bored if something doesn’t suit him.
“Boris Johnson does have the leadership qualities needed to be mayor,” Mr Conway tells People. “He may act like a fool but he is no fool. The writer’s signature [Mr Johnson’s] is larger then the handwriting, indicating that you what you see might not always be what you get. He is courteous with good, agile techniques.”
Mr Conway is employed by companies in recruitment and to help detect fraudulent signatures. He has advised engaged couples not to get married based on what he claims their handwriting says about their compatibility. Things to look for? “The bigger you write, the more extroverted you are. The smaller you write, the more introverted you are. Writing letters close together shows you need companionship, whereas leaving spaces between letters and words shows you are independent,” says Mr Conway.
