Fancy being on TV? Freelance producer/director Alisa Pomeroy hopes so. The 31-year-old is making a documentary for BBC 2 to celebrate the diverse nature of the British family.
The series will follow a selection of British households as they they prepare for and hold family reunions. Ms Pomeroy - a senior producer on the last series of BBC One's The Apprentice - is searching for a Jewish family to take part in one of the episodes, to be screened next year.
She tells People: "I am looking to feature a Jewish family of any religious background. Jewish families have such interesting histories. It would be great to have a family with a Holocaust survivor so they can share their experiences, although this doesn't necessarily have to be the case. It will be a chance for the whole extended family to re-establish family bonds.
"There's a renewed interest in one's personal history and you can learn so much about yourself through your family."
Ms Pomeroy is working with documentary film company Blast Films to produce the programme. She recently worked on a film about Holocaust survivors for BBC4 called The Waiting Room. And how was working with Sir Alan on The Apprentice? "He is really passionate and a great guy. Working on The Apprentice was amazing but I want to return to more serious, sensitive film-making."
